8 Channels 45dB Fiber Optic Duplex Singlemode CWDM DEMUX Splitter

SINO’s simplex uni-directional CWDM Mux/Demux is a flexible, low-cost solution that enables the expansion of existing fiber capacity and allows operators to make full of use of available fiber bandwidth in local loop and enterprise architectures. It can suit many kinds of applications and network solutions, such as Gigabit & 10G Ethernet, SDH/SONET, ATM, ESCON, Fibre Channel, FTTx and CATV. The module is a universal device that can multiplex optical signals (up to 18 channels) into a fiber pair or single fiber, we can provide full complete configuration such as 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 16, 18 channels, together with our CWDM transceivers or the wavelength converters, the bandwidth of the fiber can be utilized in a cost effective way.

Quick Description:

In order to increase the number of wavelength, one can also use the 1310 nm window so the CWDM channels can be increased to 16. Some DWDM network systems provide up to 96 wavelengths, typically with no more than 0.4nm spacing, roughly over the C-band range of wavelengths. The main advantage of CWDM is the cost of the optics which is typically 1/3rd of the cost of the equivalent DWDM optic. This difference in economic scale, the limited budget that many customers face, and typical initial requirements not to exceed 8 wavelengths, means that CWDM is a more popular entry point for many customers.
